Thanks for the effort, but I think I am out of luck. Total Commander CE
cannot access CERM (ftp.cerm.info). On my HPC I'll just use ScottyFTP to
access CERM. But anyways whenever I do updates I always do them on my ibook
anyways. Just for kicks I wanted to get Total Commander working, but it has
failed. I tried setting Total Commander to PASSIVE, but it still failed.
Total Commander is able to access my Unix shell's FTP space just fine. I
have no idea why.

Thanks for the effort.

It seems TC's FTP module is the weakest of all; this is why it can't
communicate with some specific FTP server programs.

Yes it appears this way. I have no idea why. But all I can say is that
all my FTP clients can access ftp.cerm.info. TC cannot, however it can
access my Unix Shell's FTP space (which is not available to the public).
www.cerm.info is available to the public.

Total Commander has some nifty features, and is a really nice app for
networking with other machines on a network. However FTP is a entirely
different matter.

Thanks dude,
