Three Questions

1) Does anyone know of an application for a Windows Mobile 6.0 PDA that can
convert speech to text fairly accurately?  I'm willing to pay for a good
software product but would like a trial first.

2) My HTC 8525 PDA (same as mentioned earlier) is not syncing with Outlook
2007 Enterprise in Windows Vista Business x86.  Has anyone else had this
issue?  It does download any pictures taken from the camera onto the hard
drive and tries to sync with Media Player, but it doesn't sync the contacts,
addresses, etc.  I do have an exchange server (2003 SP2).  Can I set it up to
sync directly with that?

3) What is Microsoft Direct Push Technology and how do I set it up?  I have
unlimited data services with my wireless company and I have Windows Small Biz
Server 2003 R2 (SP2) and my device is Windows Mobile 5.0 or greater (6.0,
actually).  Can anyone help me set that up or point me to a setup guide that
might help also?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

1.  I don't know of such an appilication but it would be good to see I
agree!

2.  Read my previous post on this one.  Do you have Windows Mobile Device
Center installed on Vista?

3.  Direct Push allows you to set up your WinMo device to synchronize with
your corporate Exchange server.  By doing this you will get email "pushed"
to you much like a Blackberry device.  It will synchronize your calendar,
contacts, email and tasks.

Assuming you have Exchange enabled and it is configured to correctly (ask
your admin if you can connect your device to Exchange - they should be able
to tell you if mobile access is enabled), usually all you have to do is go
into ActiveSync on your device, tap Server Configuration, then enter the
information.  The server name is usually the Outlook Web Access (OWA)
address (example:  webmail.clintonfitch.com).  Again, check with your
administrator to make sure on the address and any other credentials
information.

BTW - this group is for Windows HandheldPC devices, not Windows Mobile
PocketPC.  You will get faster answers if you post in
microsoft.public.pocketpc.

Hope this helps,
