Hi Michael,
Search for scanpst.exe on your computer. This utility will scan your
information for possible corruption and will also attempt to repair the
data. Usually the location of the file in Windows XP:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT\scanpst.exe
Note: C: might need to be replaced with appropriate drive letter.
You will need to run it against the .pst file. Usually the name is
Outlook.pst. If you are unable to locate the path of the .pst file, do the
following:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Click File -> Data File Management
3. This should list all the PST files that are present. Click Open Folder
and you should find the storage path of your *.pst file.
Run the scanpst.exe file on the *.pst file. If this does not solve the
problem, try running the Detect & Repair feature (available under the Help
menu of Outlook).

Ok. I ran the SCANPST.exe on the file Outlook.pst and there were errors
detected and fixed but I still can't Sync Contacts, Calendar or Tasks. I have
tried the Detect and Repair Outlook before the fixing of the PST file. Do you
think it is necessary to do it again?
Also, when I try to Resolve Items in ActiveSync 3.7.1 I get a popup box that
says "Items of one or more information types can not be Syncronized..."

Hi Michael,
Its not necessary to do it again if you have done it once earlier... but no
harm will be done if you do it !! Additionally, you could try recreating
the partnership. To delete a partnership ---
1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen instructions to setup a new
partnership.

OK. I tried to delete and reestablish a NEW partnership but I still have the
same problem. I'm baffled, any more suggestions?

Hi Michael,
Try creating a new pst file and synchronize. If successful, open the old
pst file and move the contents into the new one. For more information, you
can refer to the following MSKB article --

Hi,
Have you tried running Detect & Repair of Outlook for the user that doesn't
work?
