Are you using USB or serial to sync?

I'm having the same problem... connecting via USB. I
didn't have any problems connecting before Service Pack 2
on my notebook, but now that I try it on my new Dell with
SP2 it doesn't work! I also get an error saying that
Windows couldn't find the driver for "Samsung CDMA".

Try reinstalling ActiveSync, and also check to see if the device is
showing up in Device Manager (System, Devices tab, Device Manager
button).
