Hi,

What is the minimum security rights required for a user to set up and
retain a partnership using ActiveSync.  I have some users that are trying
to set up a partnership on their networked PC but it loses the partnership
everytime they log out of the network.  I need to be able to tell them
what it will take for their partnership to "stick".

Thanks

Mike

A partnership only requires user rights. Installing ActiveSync
requires Administrator rights.

Do the network PCs use roaming or mandatory profiles?

I'm not sure but I suspect they are using mandatory profiles.  If they are
using mandatory profiles, is there any way they can retain a partnership
between sessions?

There is no way, because everything written to the registry (and to
the profile) is erased every time they log out.
