sync with outlook

i do not use outlook, how can i prevent active sync from trying to sync with
it?

You can't - ActiveSync only synchronizes with Outlook. If you don't
want to use Outlook, you can use ActiveSync for file and favorites
sync only.

Go to TOOLS > OPTIONS in ActiveSync and remove the ticks from the options
that are linked to Outlook.
