Programatically Copy Files From Desktop to PocketPC

From my earlier question I learned that I can configure my desktop in
a "Kiosk" mode, so that as soon as I put a device in the cradle (any
device that has not yet established the partnership with the desktop),
the Guest partnership is automatically established - without any
prompt. I also learned that I can automatically run any desktop
application as soon as the connection is established (by changing the
registry key, AutoStartOnConnect).

So now, I want to create a program, which will copy files (in the
background upon connection) from my desktop to the PocketPC. How can I
do that? Or, is there any such program out there?

Secondly, can I invoke a PocketPC application from the desktop, while
the device is connected?

Thanks for your help.

Dilip

one desktop"

Hi,
You could write a RAPI application that runs on the desktop to copy the
files to the Pocket PC.

I'm not aware of a way without installing an application on the Pocket PC to
get it to start an application.  However you could program an application to
handshake with the desktop RAPI app to do that.
