I have activesync setup on my pc. It syncs fine, but everytime before I dock
my pda, i have to go to options and tell it what folder to synch. Then it
will sync, then when I undock, it will lose that information everytime.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

It should always sync with the "<device name> My Documents" folder in
your My Documents folder on your desktop computer - have you changed
the location by editing the registry?

Hi!
I have exactly the same problem.
I dont have changed the "MyDocuments" Folder on my Desktop-PC, all settings
are the default ones.
In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE
Services\Partners\29eb7953\Services\Synchronization\Objects\Contact I can
watch how the Reg_DWORD "Disabled" switch from 0 to 1 if I reconnect my PDA.
What's wrong with my installation? (XP SP2+Outlook 2003 SP1)
Thanks!

Since the registry key deals with Contacts, can I assume that the
Contacts are disabling themselves from synchronizing (ie under Tools
-> Options, Contacts becomes unchecked)? If so, try running Help ->
Detect and Repair in Outlook, then reinstall ActiveSync and see if
that helps.
