I had a disk drive failure on my PC. I would like to upload the data on my pocket pc to my PC when I insert a new hard drive in syncronize with Outlook once again. Could I do this through the "conflict resolution" setting? Othe wise, I don't want to lose what's on my PPC. Thanks

Hi John,

After installing Outlook and ActiveSync, setup a partnership and when
prompted if you would like to Combine or Replace data select Combine.  This
will restore your PPC data to Outlook.

A conflict will occur only if a partnership has been established and the
same information type has been modified on the desktop and the Pocket PC.
In such a scenario Activesync detects a conflict and is unable to decide
which file needs to be updated.  In your case the partnership information is
already lost so the conflict resolution setting is immaterial.  To be safe,
take a backup using the backup application on your PPC.
