Outlook Inbox Active Synch Option Not Available?

Under Options/Synch Options/Inbox in active synch, there is no box that I
can put a check into to select Inbox for synchronization.  I tried
scanpst.exe and Detect and Repair in Outlook but still have the problem.  I
can see the Inbox icon on the list of synch options but there is no box to
the left to put the check into so I can not use Active Synch to synchronize
the inbox on my computer with my IPAQ5555-Windows Mobile 2003.
Any thoughts on what to do?

Hi,
What version of Outlook do you have installed? Have you reinstalled
ActiveSync?

When I reintalled ActiveSync, the square to the left of Inbox in Synch
Options returned and I was able to check it.  However, when I tried to
synchronize again the check box went away and my Inbox would not
synchronize.  The calendar and contacts did synchronize though.  Any
thoughts on what to do about the Inbox?

Hi Christine,

Try recreating the partnership ---

1.  Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2.  In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3.  Connect the device and follow the onscreen instructions to setup a new
    partnership.
