When synchronising data from desktop to PocketPC or back an error is
recorded in the log 'The process cannot access the file because it is being
used by another process'.

There is only one file to be synchronised.  An MSAccess.mdb.

It is not in use on the PC or the PocketPC.

Any suggestions why the error or how to overcome it.

I can manually delete or copy either file (MDB or CDB) immediately after the
Synchronisation fails.  So it seems the file is not really in use.

Hi David,

If you are copying your database over a database that already exists on the
device then this issue is known to occur with devices running Pocket PC
2003.  You will either need to rename the database or delete it from the
device before copying it.
