Problems with CEAppMgr

I can't seem to get CEAppMgr to run properly. I installed a program that set
the CEAppMgr autorun flag upon next connection. However, CEAppMgr starts and
then quits immediatly without installing the app to my PocketPC or
SmartPhone. If I try to manually start CEAppMgr from ActiveSync or from
Start/Run, it gives me the same behavior.

Is there anyway to clear out the problem app that is attempting
installation? Can anyone point me to information on troubleshooting
CEAppMgr? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Z.

Hi,

Ensure that the CEAppMgr.exe application is given necessary permission
within your firewall application.  Firewall tends to block the ports
required by CEAppMgr and causes the ActiveSync Add/Remove program dialog to
appear and disappear.  I guess that is the problem you are facing.

Thanks Raj!

That appears to have been the cause of the problem. All is well now--thanks
again for your help!
