If the server name in the certificate and the actual server name do
not match, ActiveSync will barf. ActiveSync will also barf if it does
not recognize the certificate authority that created the certificate.
You might get better answers in microsoft.public.exchange.mobility,
however.

I've got the CA side of things handled. That bit works.
So, does the Pocket PC not support wildcard certificates?

You mean something like *.mycompany.com is in the certificate name?
That kinda defeats the purpose of the certificate, and I'm pretty sure
it's not supported.
