OK, I have just run into a new error. "the procedure entry point
CeGetDiskGreeSpaceEx could not be located in the dynamic link library
RAPI.dll.
I know this is programming information for the registry. Wondering if I
should just reinstall Windows XP and see what happens. Has anyone ever heard
of this error. I did a Google and nothing came up except a programmers guide
to windowsCE book for sale.
oh, by the way this happened while installing AS. I had it working again
fine and then noticed after the sync that the pocketpc documents and access
where grayed our and stated Attention needed. It gave me the typical message
to unplug my device and try again. That never worked. So, I decided to
uninstall everything again and reinstall and now I get this message. Never a
dull moment.

OK, I found the solution. Again AS 4.0 didn't uninstall properly and even
though I uninstalled it previous to writing this, it remained. I went in and
manually uninstalled program files and registry entries. It was still listed
in add remove programs and when I uninstalled from there and reinstalled
3.8, all is well again. Talk about crazy...I will never use 4.0 ever. Yuck.
Take Beverly Howard's advice and stick with the version that comes with your
device.
