Hi Dietlind,
no sorry, for the moment I have no solution and no answer from Microsoft.
I see that you've posted in the same thread as me, above in this group
(Can't install Activesyc 4.x). I have the same config as you (except
Windows Firewall) and I see that another people have the same problem
_and_ Eudora installed. So I ask me if Eudora has any impact on this
problem...
Wait and see...
Cheers,
Marc.

Hi Marc,
this is the son of Dietling writing.
What do you think about closing this thread and keeping it in the other
one mentioned by you?
In the other thread I already posted, that I installed AS41 on another
machine with
XP SP2 and
some current version of Eudora (I dont know the version right now and I
am not at Dietlinds Computer)
So, this means (at least for me) that Eudora is not the bad guy in this
game.
(How could it be ;-) )
Best regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
thanx for your reply.
You've right, we will close this thread.
About Eudora, I've uninstalled Eudora and try to install AS without success.
Cheers, see you on the another thread :-)
Marc
