When I was reinstalling some parts of Office 2003, I UNINSTALLED Outlook.
Then I REINSTALLED Outlook, email works fine.

BUT!!! ActiveSync will NOT see Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes in
Outlook. I get a message "Microsoft Outlook is no longer installed, so
Activesync cannot continue to run."

What can I do to get this resolved?

Hi Walt,

Uninstall and then reinstall ActiveSync.  Install ActiveSync 4.1 only if you
are using a Windows Mobile 5.0 device. Otherwise install the version you
have been using all this while.

Raj,

I uninstalled Activesync, but I saved the folders and contents.

I then reinstalled.  And got the same message.

Should I uninstall and NOT save the folders and contents.  What is the
consequence of this?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Walt,

Ok, now try running Detect & Repair under the Help menu of Outlook.
