Well, I've replaced my iPaq 3955 with an Axim 51v, but I can't get anything
in Outlook 2003 to sync with my Axim. When I try, I get an error saying that
ActiveSync cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile I am using because a
different profile was previously setup and I need to open Outllok using the
appropriate profile. It is support code 8503001f. I've tried using Detect and
Repair in Outlook with no help. I also ran scanpst on my pst file in Outlook,
corrected some errors, but still no luck. If I don't even open Outlook when
trying to sync, I get the error: ACtiveSync encountered a problem on the
desktop, support code 85010014. I deleted the partnership to my iPaq as well.
There is no password for Outlook. I have also tried reinstalling Office but
get an error when trying to do so.  I had no problems with my iPaq. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi,
When you tried reinstalling office, did you try uninstalling it first?
Specifically I am referring to uninstalling Outlook, rebooting and then
reinstalling Outlook followed by reinstalling Activesync 4.1.

Great!  I wish I knew a way to fix it short of the uninstallation though.
