How to delete a second PC

I've been having sync problems with my Axim X51v and ActiveSync so I
uninstallled and reinstalled AC.  When the reinstall is complete it tells me
that it needs to configure Windows PC 2.  When I do that, it syncs to that PC
instead of the original Windows PC.  How do I delete Windows PC 2 so it syncs
with the original Windows PC?

Thanks!

Hi,

Have you tried deleting the partnership from the device?  Tap Start ->
Programs -> ActiveSync -> Menu -> Options... and then setup the partnership
again.  See if it helps solve your problem.

Thanks for the help.  I tried that and, when I put the Axim in the cradle, I
get the ActiveSync set upi screen that prompts me to set up a relationshp
with my computer.  That's when it forces me to configure Windows PC 2.

Any other thoughts>

Hi,

I am not certain if I have understood your issue correctly.  Could you
provide some more details (step wise) of what is happening?  I tried several
permutation/combination with uninstalling/installing AS to try and see if it
throws up something similar but been unsuccessful.  All the time it gives me
the option to configure Windows PC.

Yes I can.

I've deleted the the second partnership from my Axim and now have one
partnership on my Axim called "Windows PC."

I have uninstalled and then reinstalled AC from the CD that came with my
Axim...AC version 4.0.  nce the installation is finished, the "Get Connected"
window appears advising me to follow three steps:  conncet the cable to the
PC, turn on the device, place the device in the cradle.  AC is supposed to
automatically find the device, which it seems to...the AC window appears and
"Connecting" is in the center section of the window...but nothing syncs...no
data transfers from one device to the other.

Not sure what is going on...but that's the problem.

Hi,

In the steps you outlined - where does it ask you to configure "Windows
PC2"? Or has it stopped prompting you?

You could try installing ActiveSync 4.1 since thats got a lot of fixes when
compared to AS 4.0 (the version you have installed).  If it continues to
prompt only "Connecting...." then chances are some firewall/VPN software is
blocking a successful connection.
