Hi Sumeet,

The last ActiveSync (AS) version that officially supported Outlook 97 was AS
3.1.  And since your device runs on PPC 2003 OS it will need AS 3.7 at
least.

Here is a complete list of versions and their compatibility -
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesyncversions.htm

Although officially AS 3.7 is needed to sync PPC 2003, there were a few
users who managed to sync it using 3.5.  And there were a few users who also
managed to sync PPC 2002 with Outlook 97 using 3.5 version (again - not
officially supported). So one option for you to try is see if you can make
it work with AS 3.5. You should be able download AS 3.5 from -

/msasync.exe

Beyond this, the only other manner you will be able to sync is by upgrading
the version of Outlook.  Which would be the ideal solution since you will be
able to use a lot more features.

If you have the CD (and paper) that shipped with the ppc, there is a
full legal copy of Outlook which was part of the cost of the device...
the paper is important as it contains the outlook activation code.
