Don't delete email on sever

I have a Cingular 8125 running Windows Mobile. It is set for wireless sync
with an Exchange server. I have a lot of emails that I keep in my inbox. I
do not want all that email on my pocket pc. I would like to delete email
from the Pocket PC and not have it deleted from the inbox. It would also be
nice if nothing was marked as read in my inbox when I view it on the Pocket
PC.

Since I have it set to sync only one day back, I thought that I could delete
anything over one day. That is not the case, it still deletes it from the
inbox.

I could easily make these configuration settings with a BlackBerry server so
I'm surprised that I can not do it with Windows.

Next I thought I could just use a POP account, however I do not see where I
can leave messages on the server. Any email that is downloaded using POP is
removed from the server.

Thanks for any help

Hi,
If you want to keep the e-mail you MUST keep it on the Pocket PC and it will
stay in Exchange as well. If you delete it on the Pocket PC then it will be
deleted from Exchange.

There is NO option to delete the e-mail from the Pocket PC only.

If you use POP3 then e-mail by default is left on the server unless you
delete it from the Pocket PC.
