I purchased a song over MusicMatch. Downloaded fine and can play the WMA format with WMP on my PC, but when I copy the file to my CF card (both thru my reader and thru MusicMatch, it gives the following error: "Windows Media Player Cannot play this file" iPAQ 2215 device Sandisk CF Card Reader Sandisk CF Card (tried a 64,32, and 256 meg card) When I play the song in WMP on my PC and transfer it through that, same thing....help. I have the same problem with my 2215. The songs play fine if transferred to the main memory of the device. They won't work from the SD card. I've talked to HP and after 3 hrs on chat support I gave up and went to bed. Nobody had any good ideas. It's not just MusicMatch. It's BuyMusic.com and Wal-Mart.com also. Wal-mart's tech support didn't know the difference between and iPAQ and iPod. They said they don't support Apple. Mark Polino > I purchased a song over MusicMatch. Hey, if you are using a card reader, it won't work: In order to play LEGAL WMA downloads from Napster and MusicMatch from a CF/SD card: 1. Download Song 2. Place card in PocketPC and connect 2. Open song in Windows Media Player (WMP) 3. Choose copy to Devices 4. Make sure you choose the CF card with the PocketPC icon 5. Copy it over. So far I can not get it to work with the card reader, only via the Pocket PC direct copy. Other songs work either way. Hope this helps! It won't work when I do the exact same thing on my 2215. I get a license error. I've bought music from MusicMatch, BuyMusic.com and Wal-Mart.com with the same problem.
