I am trying to use CoffeeCup FTP but getting the message "Cannot make a visible window modal"

I am getting the message "cannot make a visible window modal" when I go to
the server to start my CoffeeCup FTP. What can I be doing wrong? I have
made sure I have the latest addition 6.1.0.53 and I have checked my
reginal settings. Could it be that I am in Japan and have downloaded this
from the states? I downloaded the 30 day trial package. Thanks Slang
