I'm not clear of any way to do this natively on the PPC
However, 3gpp is supported by Quicktime 6.5 (or whichever is the
latest release), and if you have access to quicktime Pro you can
transcode to say an AVI then into windows media or realplayer format,
or mpeg for pocketTV if you choose to do so. That'll play on the PPC.
There's currently no quicktime player for Pocket PC.

Philips Platform 4 Player used to do the job (I was running Pocket PC 2002),
but I see on www.3gpp.org, they say Philips no longer do this.
A pity I lost my download of it, and upgraded to 2003. Now I'm in the same
boat as you...
