I don't think you can do this. Why don't you simply put the CF card in a
multicard reader and play on your desktop?

When I woke up this morning my wife asked me, "Did you sleep
good?" I said, "No, I made a few mistakes."
iPlay can do this by using the PPC version of 40iSrv, and
then the x86 version of the player. That's not an intended
use. A typical use would be to serve mp3s/mp4s to nearby
iPAQs (in adhoc mode) from a single iPAQ. A card reader is
a reasonable way to go, but even better, copy the files from
the little HD to a PC HD and don't even bother with the
little HD. Simplest. Any other way isn't.
