Hello All:
Am in a quandry: I recently purchased a IPAQ 2215 and have
ripped/downloaded music files. I have an old Casio
Cassiopeia E-115 that I would like to use solely as a MP3
player.
My question: how can I transfer the files from WMP v. 9 to
the Casio (which is maxed out at WMP 7.1).
I use SD cards for the music on the IPAQ and the Casio
only accepts CFlash cards.
Seems like a shame to not put the old "brick" to some type
of use?
Any kind help is greatly appreciated...
Peace,
Steve

Are the files that don't play encoded as Variable Bit Rate? I think that was
added in the latest versions.
Recode as fixed rate- somewhere around 64 should be fine. You can find
encoding tools using a search engine- there are lots for the PC. Even Winamp
can reencode. I generally use dBpoweramp for conversions, but if you try it
you'll need to download and install plugins- air it only handles mp3's as
installed.
Try one file only until you get it right, it'll save converting files that
don't work.
