Well, since I am an el cheapo type person, I am looking to the shareware
world for a method of getting dvd's I own onto my PPC. I have Smart ripper
to rip them to the hard drive, now I need a program that is simple enough
for me to use to convert them to a format that is small enough to fit a
complete DVD movie on a 256meg memory card. I have to be able to convert
them to the PPC screen size, which I believe is 320x240. I have tried some
of the trial version programs, but there has to be programs in the shareware
world that can do this. Anyone have some good ones??

if you already have them ripped, then use windows media encoder (free) and
it even has pre-configured options for pocketpc's
