Trouble with HP iPAQ rx3115 and WMP10

Hello,

I recently bought a new HP iPAQ rx3115 Pocket PC and am loving its
multimedia capabilities, execpt for one thing.  After I upgraded the ROM (by
downloading the WMP10 update from HP) I noticed the mapping of the hardware
buttons is only on while the WMP 10 is maximized (when WMP 10 is minimized,
the buttons are un-mapped and therefore, I cannot use the buttons for play
/pause, etc).  With WMP 9 and WMP 8 I always liked the fact that I could map
the buttons and have them stay mapped while the app was minimized.

is there any way to keep the map on while WMP 10 is minimized?

You may want to report that to HP then.

As far as I can tell:

can't be done...

more evidence of why i wish to downgrade my WMP back to version 9.

I'm not sure about WMP 10, but v9 had a checkbox you needed to enable in the
options for the button mappings to remain when other programs were running.
I'm sure you've checked for that, but just tossing it out there just in
case...
