Since my problem with  a hard reset yesterday (see other thread) when I go
to text someone I am now being offered the email address of my contacts
rather than the phone number that I used to get.

How do I change it?  I have looked through all the settings but can't find a
way of changing this.

I have an Orange SPV M1000

thanks

Liz

not sure how to do it globally, but you can set the contacts
individually by tapping the blue "e" on the right of the name list, and
when the pulldown appears showing all numbers, tap the one you want to
be the default in the future.

The PDA can send e-mails as well as sms - ensure that you are connected to the SMS part of the phone as opposed the active sync part ..
