Somehow I seem to have lost my SMS account/service on my Windows Mobile 2003 device. Can't find a way to add it back. I just noticed I was not receiving SMS messages anymore and checked Inbox and SMS was missing in action. This has happened to me as well - I never worked out how or why. The only way to get it back is: - do a hard reset - if your backup is a Sprite backup, untick SMS when doing the restore, this gets the empty folders back, but your old messages are lost - if your backup is from a program that will not let you do a selective restore, like ActiveSync, then restore an old backup from before the folders disappeared. -- Character develops itself in the stream of life.
