Hi, I have HP6315 (Cincular) and tried to connect to Exchange server 2003. I
successfully connected to OMA but when I sync to server, I am getting error.
-- Synchroniztion failed. verify that you have entered the correct server
name and try again.
Error code: INTERNET_7.

I entered the servername and domain name like below:
server:  server.myserver.local
domain: www.myserver.com

I looked at Microsift site but not many help for Win Mobile 2003 SE
available. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Jay,

I am no expert, but the domain that you should be using is simply the domain
name that appears before your login.
i.e. if mycompany/jkim is your actual login then

username = jkim
domain = mycompany
server = server.myserver.local (whatever you would use to access OWA
http://server.myserver.local/exchange, but without the exchange part,
typically this is something like http://outlook.mycompany.com/exchange, but
whatever your company uses it what you should place in this field).

Try this and let us know how it works out.

P.S.  Your message says that you successfully connect to OMA, what is that?
And what does it have to do with your exchange synchronization?
Sorry if it's a really stupid questions, but I am curious.

Thank you for the reply.

I tried but got same result.
Any other suggestions?

OMA is outlook mobile access similar to Outlook web access.

Hi, there,
Finally I figured out.

server: FQDN (like www.mycompany.com )
user: jkim
Domain: mycompany (not FQDN nor server.mycompany.local)

Thanks,

Jay,
