No word as to when it will be released. There are alot of people waiting
for it(like me) and I hope it will be soon but there's no way to tell when
this will happen.

I am investigating this technology, and am a little confused. Does this mean
that PPC 6700 only gets mail from the Exchange server when the device pulls
every 5 minutes, and that the Direct Push feature is not yet available for
this device?
Also I thought the the Messaging/Security Feature Pack was for Exchange
server. I read your messages as saying there is a feature pack to install
for each Mobile 5 device. Is that correct?
Thanks for the info.

The 6700 with it's current rom can do sms exchange based syncing. Meaning
exchange will send a silent sms to the device when new items are available
and the device will then connect to get the updated items. The messaging
security and feature pack is for the device itself, it needs service pack 2
for exchange but the feature pack availability will be based on the carriers
and oem's.
