i have a t-mobile compact II with WM5 and a strange icon has appeard on the
home screen
It is positioned on the bottom line just above the contacts button. it looks
like a phone with a padlock. if you press it the icon goes to the same with
a circle and line through it. this icon appears to do nothing whatso ever.
any one know what it is and how to get rid of it?

Also does anyone know how to enable the bluetooth icon so that it shows up
on the top line? i know theres an icon in the windows folder

Isn't that the "Lock Device" icon?
