I recently bought a cingular 8125 pda phone and could not get it to
sync.  i have xp pro sp 2, office 2003, active sync 4.2.  the error i
get is - the sync could not be completed, if this error persists delete
the mobile device and recconnect. support code 80004005. - the device
connects (i am trying to sync calendar and contacts only), ck. marks
appear next to calendar and contacts and then the error happens just as
the sync is starting. I have uninstalled norton and all other antivirus
software and turned off all firewall apps.  i have uninstalled outlook
2003 and used outlook 2002 provided on the disc, as well as the
activesync 4.1 on the disc.  I returned the phone within the 30 days
just to make sure it was not the phone.
The first time i tried to sync the new phone it sync'd perfectly and
then has not worked ever since.  I now get the same error as
before..... Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
