questions in the microsoft.public.smartphone newsgroup since this is the

I finally gave up on finding a flip phone that met all my other
criteria.

So I got an unlocked Cingular 2125 on eBay and am very happy. Very
good reception. Most stable Windows device I've ever owned (It's hung
only once in the 2 months I've had it. I turned it off a few times to
finish an installation/removal. Otherwise it's been on the whole
time.). Decent camera. Usual Microsoft software. I found and installed
several extra programs I really like.

I don't like having to press and hold the "End" (red phone) key to
lock the keyboard. And I don't like the joystick.

I'm using it with T-Mobile, which is why I needed it unlocked. The
T-Mobile MDA is similar, but has a different (media-centric) keyboard
I think would be annoying.

Other variants include WiFi.
