I get the following error when I attempt a new document on my att 8525
Mobile 6 device:
"An error occured. The document could not be opened."
Unline some others who have gotten this error, I was not trying to open
another document, but a new one.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Can you provide a little more information please. Available space? Does
this happen everytime? Does an existing document open ok?

Did you try a soft reset?

I found that I did not have any Word templates in the main memory--just on
the SD card. When I copied the templates into the main memory, the problem
was solved.
Thank you for your replies.

I have the same problem with all of my WM6 office applications - i can't open
PPTs or docs. Can you give a little more detail on how you solved the issue?
thanks.

can you elaborate on the problem... for example, where are the files and
how are you trying to open them.
In addition, what version of mobile office is on your device, what is
the device make/model and does it have a touchscreen (stylus)
