XDA 2 - O2 UK

I have a mobile webpage that has contact numbers on and I'd like to add the ability for XDA 2 users to dial the number shown on a webpage by clicking it?

Thanks in advance for your help

W O W !!!!

That is _great_ information!!!!  Just tested it and it works!

For those of us not coding directly, using an html editor, all you need
to do is to create a "link" containing

tel:12334567890

Thanks!!!

Question... are there any other telephone related keywords similar to
this... I am especially interested in anything that will generate DTMF
_after_ a call is in progress.

FWIW, this applies to MS Smartphones as well.

A brief followup to this...

it appears that there is also a "dtmf:" option that works in WM2003 (but
does not work in PPC2002.)  This would be extremely valuable on the i700
as there is no way to generate dtmf tones after a call is connected
other than by tapping the keypad... i.e. entering access codes.

Assume that everyone knows that you can use any PC html editor to create
custom (PPC Screen compatible) pages with these links, then copy them to
the PPC for local access.

You can also generate a shortcut file which can be placed in the start
menu to trigger special dialer lists.

Thankyou very much this is most helpful, is there a webpage you know of that has more of these types of options?
