Hi Reader,

I hope you can help me outta my wireless lan problem.

I have a Maxim access point (WAP-B11M), connected to a hub (D-link
DES-10050). The hub is also connected to a DSL-MODEM to access the
internet.

Now I want to be able to use my Toshiba E750 wireless to access the
internet too via the WAP-B11M, but I can't get it done. I think i'm
missing a few steps. All I have done so far is letting my E750 find
the WAP-B11M.

So if anyone out there can help me with a step by step help, i will
appreciate it very.

1 : I want to get on the net wirelessly without going through my home
PC
    (no internet share)

2 : I want to wireless sync via PC and E750.

Thank you for helping.

In case you have WEP protection at your Wireless Network you should put the
same WEP key in the Pocket PC Wifi software.

In case you have activated MAC filtering, you should put in the AP software
the MAC address of the Pocket PC.

I hope this will help.

Hi again,

I finaly got the the wireless sync working.

I had to configure the PDA IP-settings manually. DHCP settings did not
work for me.
Anyway I can sync wireless now.

But now I want to set it up to browse the net without going through
another PC.
Somewhere I have to place my longin name and password to logon to my
ISP. So far I only know to do that if i was using a modem to dail
out.
I use ADSL connection, so i don't dial a number.

Can anyone clear this problem for me please ?

Thanks for your reply.

Then normally you would have a Wireless/access point/router and your Log on
name and password would be place in this. Then the Access Point/router will
log on and keep the connection.

Hi Dave

Thanks for your help, but I can't get to see where to put my loggin
name and passwords into the DSL Unit or D-link Unit
The D-link DES-10050 is just a stand alone. it is not build-in wit
the DSL modem.
After reading others their wireless problem, i finally got th
wireless networking working.....I can see both of the PC's here a
home

The only problem i still have is to get online wireless without goin
via another PC. I just want to go via my E750 to the Wireless to th
Hub to the ADSL modem
Do you have any suggestions for me

Thanks

Edwi
