I am using Windows PPC 2003 on my Axim X3i. Is it
possible for me to surf the web and download a file from
a website? Or do I need another program besides IE to do
this?
Depends on the website and how the file is set up. If the website is set up
correctly then yes, you can download it directly to your Axim. Or you can
download and install it.

Ok. Let's take www.download.com (for instance). Is this
a setup that would work with the Axim? Does it differ
for a .exe and .jpg file?

That is a good example of a site that you will have trouble with. It uses
multiple windows, and PocketPC's don't support multiple windows without
extra software. Also their software for the most part is designed to run on
a PC not a PocketPC. So if it is an exe file, chances are you need to
download it to your PC and run it there. As an example you can not filter
there site for just the PocketPC OS files.
Still by getting to this page;
http://download.com.com/3002-2136-10225107.html?tag=dir and clicking on the
www.fieldtown.co.uk link I was able to download the program. From
http://download.com.com/redir?pid=10225107&merid=76247&mfgid=76247&edId=3&siteId

You might find a site like www.handango.com more friendly.

Can someone help me or guide me to configure my wireless connection
of Dell Axim X3i to surf the internet using shared internet connection?
At home I have a network wireless by Access Point with two computers
and one of which is connected to the Internet
via a dial-up connection. All are windows XP and shared internet as
192.168.0.X
All two computers can surf the internet well.
I can see that my pocket PC is connected to my home network and can
synchronise.
Thank you.

What document are you following? What have you done (list the steps)
and what results do you receive precisely?
