Hi all,

Which sould I get?  I understand that the Socket has the best power
consumption but is it's ramge limited by that?  I had a Linksys WFC12
and would actually like a little more range than that card had with my
Linksys WAP.

I think I screwed up my WCF-12 by putting it in my puter bag on a trip
while still inserted in the socket.  Now I need to wiggle it and it does
weird things to my IPAQ when in use.  Bought a new sleave so it's not that.

Thanks
  Bill

The Socket card has the largest transmission range of all CF cards.
It has 100 mw out vs. the 10-15 mw of most other cards.

I use mine constantly and do not see any difference in the operational time.

I don't see range problems with my Socket Card. It goes around 200m on the
open, and in my home it is going 50m through walls and with the AP in the
other floor. Concrete walls, btw.
