If your PC is running XP Pro look at using Remote Desktop and the PocketPC Terminal Services Client.
That works very well for me over my wireless LAN.

I tried your advice for using Remote Desktop and PocketPC Terminal Services
Client but I couldn't get the screen res right, so I decided to try your
other suggestion.
I've installed UltraVNC ok but the link you posted for the PPC client is
dead. Do you have any other recommendations for a PPC Client please?
