WM2003 does save profiles of the networks you connected to. Having activated
the wireless feature (or inserted the wireless card) go to
Settings/Connections/Wireless Ethernet and there you will have two tabs, one
for the current connection and one for the profile of the networks known.

Nope, I don't see that. When I click on Settings/connections/wireless
ethernet I then see two tapes one Wireless and one Network Adapters. Under
the wireless tab I see Wireless Networks which I assume are my profiles.
However, there is no way to lock the profile and prevent it from being
changed accidentally. Thats what I mean. if it gets changed somehow then
there is no way to load the old profile. I have to re-input the wep key. It
really isn't that big of a deal since I keep my wep key in a Note so I can
just cut and past. I just wish WM2003 had better management of the profiles.
See, I also use Pocketwinc because I go through lots of different networks
during my day to day routine. And it is easier to connect with winc.
Unfortunately, if I abscent mindedly use it to connect to any wep protected
network I have under my connection settings it screws up with the
established profiles of that wep networks. And since WM2003 doesn't protect
profile information from being changed it is easily changed by a third party
app.

Is this a different application you are using? I do not know of any
Settings/Connections/Wireless Ethernet.
I think you may be using a different application for those settings.
Thanks

Where is the wireless ethernet? In my IPaq 2215, when I go
Settings/Connections, it has 3 icons, "Avantgo Connect", "Beam", and
"Connections". When I tap "Connections". When I tap "Connections" it has
2 tabs, "Tasks" and "Advanced". In "Advanced" page I have "select
network", "select location" and "network card". Tapping the "network card"
box two tabs "configure wireless networks" and "configure network
adapters" window.
