I have an axim x5, running MS Mobile 2003 with a wifi card. When I'm away from the office in a hotel or barnes & noble using my wifi for internet access. I can browse to my offices Outlook Web Access page and view my e-mail, but I'd really like to be able to sync my inbox on my pocket pc with my actual inbox at the office. I ask because I know Outlook 2003 will let you do this.
I just did exactly that this morning before I ever levered myself out of the
bed on a sunday morning. If you've got a wifi connection you can manage.
Click open the inbox.
Click ACCOUNTS in the menu
Click New Account and configure with email address, name, server info,
account name etc...
Once done all you've got to do is click ACCOUNTS (in menu), select this
account and hit the send/receive icon.
The mail will flow into the inbox of this new account NOT into your
ActiveSync inbox. If you've configured to leave mail on the server, next
time you sync you will get a second copy of whatever you pull down, but now
dropped into your ActiveSync inbox - them's the breaks.
Now, wasn't that easy?

Sorry to but in, but I am having a problem with downloading messages after
setting up the way you said below. I can send email but when receiving
messages I get a notice saying the massages cannot be copied to my device.
I have used all the same settings for pop and SMTP in a 3rd party program
"npop" and I can download no problem, but I can't get inbox to work. Any
ideas?
