I have a HP Ipaq 2215 and am trying to get Netgear MA701 WiFi card to work.
I am a little lost on this process.
I have downloaded latest driver from Netgears support site
I have installed the driver in the default directory.
From there my problems start. When I install the WiFi car the green connect
light just flashes indicating that it has power and is trying to connect,
but it never does and I have no ideal what else to do to get it to work.
I am running a Netgear WGT624 wireless router for the access point. I have
no problem connecting my laptop but the 2215 is a completely different
story.
I believe that their should be a program that I should go to to configure
the CF wifi card but their seems to be no apps for this purpose.
How do I set this card up?
I can't speak to the Netgear card but with my old D-Link DCF-650W card and my old 3835 running WM
2003, D-Link provided a card manager that was located in "Start -> Settings -> System". I could
configure the card there, ie. SSID and WEP key...
With the WM 2003 OS you can also look in the Connection Manager at "Start -> Settings ->
Connections -> Connections -> Advanced -> Network Card -> Wireless". If your device is seeing your
local wireless network, or anyother wireless network for that matter, you can configure the
specifics here. Simply tap the desired network and configure as needed for both SSID and WEP key.
Note that the wireless radio on your PocketPC needs to be turned on in order for you to access
configuration window.
If you don't have either of the above, ie. a card manager program or the Connection Manager
configuration screens, then I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Figured out the problem
I am using a NetGear 108 G/B (WGT624) wireless router as my access point.
Its compatible with Sony Clie's UX50 and it works with Netgears WG511T in B
mode
But, the MA701 it does not get along with.
I took my 2215 to another access port using DLink and connected immediately
in the "Configure Wireless Network" pane within the wireless networks:
window.
Is their any compactflash cards that are compatible with Netgears WGT624
wireless router and Pocket PC 2003?
