Greetings ...
Currently I am working on a project that may require atleast 20 PDA's with
WLAN 802.11b adapters (NetGear MA-401) running with the WL100nds.dll driver
installed onto the units. The PDA's will have to communicate via the Ad-Hoc
configuration, there will be no Access Points in the configuration.
I noticed when I had multiple PDA's turned on that when I went to the
association window it show that some PDA's were getting associated to
another client, I was using a program called "NetStumbler" to track the
802.11b traffic.
What causes multiple peers on a Ad-hoc WLAN network ???
Thanks Keith

An ad-hoc WLAN is by definition a peer-to-peer connection. Thus, if there
are other peers available, it could happen that they would connect to the
wrong place.
