Setup router and laptop works fine wireless.

When connecting w/Axim net work status shows scanning and not
connecting to channel 6 (set in router configuration).

Also Socket says to obtain a root certificate from admin...this is a
home network...how to I install a root cert?

TIA

Sounds to me as if your Axim-3 is NOT configured for WEP but a more advanced
encryption. You should not need a root certificate for WEP. Is your Linksys
a G/B wireless system? If so you may need a newer firmware for the Linksys.
Also have you disabled the SSID or Network Name on the Linksys?
