a reader?

Thanks in advance for any information

Rod,

I use Inkspot on my iPAQ 5555 and a 802.11b connection to my home LAN or
wireless hotspot. Inkspot is not free however.

There is a new free reader called Quesnote or something similar. You can Google
for a lot of posts about it on the microsoft.public.pocketpc news group.

Rod,

Here is the link to the Qusnetsoft news reader...

I could never get it to work correctly on my iPAQ 5555. Hopefully it will work for you. Otherwise,
Inkspot is a good alternative...

Al,
What problems are you having with Qusnetsoft on your 5555? I'm posting this
via Qusnetsoft on my 5555.

The device and program would just hang when compressing or downloading news groups. I had to soft
reset a lot when using the program. It was a real irritant... Anyway, I still have my old license
for Ink Spot and have upgraded to the newest version so all is well...

Oh ok, i've seen reports of this on other devices as well. As long as you
have something that works.

Ok I bite, I can't get Qusnetsoft to download the "groups" from my server.
Nor can I get it to download the groups from msnews.microsoft.com so what
are you doing that I'm not? Also with a 5555.

Did Hard reset and now it is working. So something on my 5555 had the
ability to prevent it from connecting.
