Hi,

Is it possible to disable WLAN and Bluetooth or one of both by registry ? We
wan't to disable it because it's a security hole for our users.

Thanks

Yves

Care to expand your comment about security hole?

WLAN on your Pocket PC does not allow any file or folder sharing. Bluetooth
requires an user initiated operation to send any information.

As I see these two technologies on the Pocket PC world today they're not
very different of that USB port or SD/MMC card slot present in all Pocket
PC...

Okay, but i need to turn it off. Because our Security says that... Is it
possible to turn it off with registry keys or something like that ? Devices

Greetings

Yves

For the 5555 Hp has a firmware update to support WPA One could run the
update. As a first step it removes the existing Firmware, and requires a
soft reset. At that point do not continue with the update and you have
remove the WLAN firmware effectively disabling the WLAN.
