i have a pocket pc with an integrated wireless. it sees my home wireless
network (via a wireless router connected to an adsl modem) but does not
'connect' to the internet. in the options it seems to expect a modem and
dial up to access the internet. the pda is running pocket pc 2002.
any gurus out there?

You might want to get vxUtil from www.cam.com it's a free program and post
the results from info. Generally this is either a security settings problem,
or a problem with how your PocketPC is configured.

ran the prog.
it gets the ip address from the router, it pings okay.the ping sweep is
'bad' (eh?)
gets html for websites (tried google), the lookup works. the timeserver
works.
seems there is a glitch with the settings of the pocket internet explorer-
as it wants a dial up as the default for an internet connection.
any suggestions/pointers ?
