Good day all,

There might be a few stupid questions here, so please bear
with me.
I am travelling to Europe soon (for 3 weeks) and need some
help. My PDA (Fujitsu Pocket Loox 410) has bluetooth. How
do I connect to my email and browse the internet from
there? Is it better to subscribe to a ISP in Europe
(suggestions would be appreciated)to browse the internet
or what is the best?

I am trying to understand how I can use my cellphone and
PDA to get email and browse the web in Europe.

Please help.

Thanks

Best way would be to have a Bluetooth enabled phone, get (there) a data
enabled (GPRS) SIM card and then connect to GPRS locally and access your
regular email accounts.

You don't need an ISP there, the GPRS cellular network will do that for you.

Now, if you go for a terrestrial line modem for the Pocket PC, then you will
need a local ISP or an international roaming account.

Both Boingo and T-Mobile Hotspots include many European countries in their
coverage area.  If you are willing to seek out wi-fi hot spots, that might
be another way to go.

Stuart, you are right ! I assumed he was intending to do it through cellular
networks. It ain't necessarily so.
