I'm sort of new to wireless technology.  I have a Dell
Axim X30 Handheld 312 MHz (non-wireless)with the SanDisk
Wi-FI + 256mb SDIO card.  I love both of them -no
problems so far.

Can you upload/download files (from PC to Pocket PC)
through wireless connection only?

Thanks!

yes, when connected, go to pocket file explorer and click the "open"
icon at the bottom and enter your computer name;

\\computername

Once you are connected, you can up and download files from the ppc...
you cannot "open" files on the pc via file explorer, and, you cannot
access your ppc from the pc.

To add to Bev's comments, you can use a third-partly application like Resco Explorer ($$$$) or
NetRunner (Free) if you need to actually open shared files across your network...

Note that Resco Explorer comes FREE with some PocketPCs including iPAQ 5555 devices...
